Personal Experience:

I have been using this product since more than two years in an on and off manner. It costs 395 rs. During my college days, I found it pretty costly and my priorities back then, were lipsticks and kajal. Hey! At least that shows up easily no?

I never had problems with acne or scars. I have a dusky complexion, yet I was never a fan of whitening products. Now that I have few major functions coming up, I feel the need to provide my skin with the best of the stuff that I can, in order to have a healthier skin.

So, the first product that popped in my mind was this Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Skin Whitening & Brightening Nourishing Night Creme. As this was something that my mother also used and it was our collective decision to repurchase it.

The easiest way was to choose it from Nykaa. Nykaa has made this girly shopping so much easier. It is every girl’s dream come true to choose from the various ranges of products. I did see many more night creams from various brands. But hey! I’m a committed person you know? Sadly, while I bought this crème from Lotus Herbals, I had got no discount.

You can get lucky as there is 20 percent sale going on on Nykaa every now and then.

How to Apply:

Apply after cleansing thoroughly with WHITEGLOW 3 in 1 Deep Cleansing Skin Whitening Facial Foam. Use your fingertips and smooth evenly onto clean skin over face and neck. Apply just before going to bed. For synergic effect, use in conjunction with WHITEGLOW Intensive Skin Whitening & Brightening Serum.

Well, that is what they said, but here is what I did. I washed my face with “The Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam Acerola”, which I had bought from Nykaa at Rs 300. I would review it in my next blog.

I don’t really prefer using the same brand’s products for better results. I have my personal favourites in different brands. But following the same might work better for you. You never know.

The Packaging: I must admit, that it looks pretty catchy, boxed in silver/greyish shiny outer. No wonder I bought it the first time from our local store by simply looking at the product. I personally prefer these heavy packaging. I perceive such products as o higher quality. :P

But someone who is not into using night creams regularly might find it a little heavy on the skin. That was the case with me. But after some time, it starts feeling better on the skin, leaving a radiant glow. It surely does have a softening effect on the face.The crème smells heavenly! At the first place, I would love to apply something at night that smells this good. It's a gel/crème- like product that gets very easy to spread on the skin. A little is enough to spread well, I still prefer a little more and massage it lightly until my skin absorbs it well.

I’m a dusky person. I was afraid wondering if I would lose my warm honey brownish colour because of his Whitening Night Cream. But, nope! Nothing of that sort happened. It only r made my skin feel softened and well moisturised. I was happy.

I slept off wondering if would get any breakout due to this cream or any other side effects, but it’s been a good one month and I feel great! This product gives me the proper nourishment for my skin.

I am not the right one to comment, if this cream reduces the pigmentation or blemishes, as I had none of those anyway. I have a dry skin and something that nourishes and keeps my face moisturised whole night is all that I needed. This cream also makes me wake up smelling so fresh. That is a plus point.

If you plan to get a fairer skin, like any other product, even this cream doesn’t do anything about it. But if you too are looking for a healthier skin, then this one is a great night care product!
